Option 1 — Financial Placement: $500,000
Investment required: At least $500,000 through a financial placement in Panama.
Documentation: In addition to general documents (criminal record, Ministry of Commerce certification, etc.), you must present a certified letter from the securities house detailing the investment made.
Option 2 — Fixed-Term Deposit: $750,000
Investment required: $750,000 in fixed-term deposits in a Panamanian bank.
Documentation: Certified letters from the banking institution, verifying that funds were transferred from abroad.
Option 3 — Real Estate: $300,000 / $500,000
Investment required: At least $300,000 until October 2024, and $500,000 after that date. Can also apply via a promise of sale contract.
Holding period: The property must be retained for a minimum of five years.
Documentation: Property titles and/or purchase contracts.
Procedure and Key Conditions
