Eligibility for the Retiree Visa
The Retirement Visa does not discriminate based on age — it focuses on guaranteed income. You need to prove a lifetime pension of at least $1,000/month. The minimum required age is 25 years. This visa does not grant the right to a work permit, but owning a company is not prohibited.
Minimum income: $1,000/month. If the pension is between $750–$1,000, it can be supplemented by real estate investment of at least $100,000.
Dependents: An additional $250/month is required per dependent. Dependent children must be single and under 18, or under 25 if in university.
